A year ago Thermal Surveys NI conducted a Heat Loss Survey for a house in Lisburn. The house was only 5 years old but the owner was unhappy with the high heating costs for a modern property.

The survey showed up draughts around one door & two windows, a humidity issue in part of the house and discovered that one whole wall was missing cavity insulation… all creating unnecessary heat loss.

One year on, the owner has reduced the heating bills by 30%, feeling much happier with the house.

Part of the issue was corrected by the original builder who was able to use the information to address the problem quickly and satisfactorily, no second guessing needed to locate the issue.
